Uniform Information

Burnside Academy Uniform

Parents are not obliged or compelled to purchase branded uniform for school. They are, nonetheless, expected to comply with the chosen colour code of a red sweatshirt or cardigan with a white polo shirt and grey trousers or skirt. All of these garments are widely available from the high street, local supermarkets and shops giving parents the freedom of choice. Alternatively, branded uniform is available from the Tots to Teams website.

Girls

  • Grey Skirt or Trousers
  • White Polo Shirt
  • Red Sweatshirt, Jumper or Cardigan
  • Red check Gingham Summer Dress

Boys

  • Grey trousers or Shorts
  • White Polo Shirt
  • Red Sweatshirt or Jumper
  • Shoes
  • Black sensible shoes should be worn for school

P.E. Kit

  • Plain White T-shirt
  • Black Jogging Bottoms or Leggings
  • Red School Sweatshirt
  • Black Shorts
  • Trainers

*plain stud earrings must not be worn on PE days.

Please note: We do NOT allow the following to be worn for school:

  • Leggings
  • Jewellery (plain studs only)
  • False, acrylic or painted nails
  • Make up or false tan
  • Coloured hair

e accept any donations of old/used uniform in good condition, and will inform parents of where it can be collected from in the local community.
